Mobil 1™ Powering Icons Sweepstakes Official Rules

In return for the opportunity to participate in the Mobil 1 Powering Icons Sweepstakes described herein (the “Promotion”), ExxonMobil Oil Corporation (“EMOC” or “Sponsor”) requires your agreement to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below (the “Official Rules”).

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

Participation constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules. The Promotion begins at 12:00 AM Eastern Time on June 23, 2023, and ends at 11:59 PM Eastern time on November 15, 2023 (“Promotion Period”) and is limited to individual consumers (“Participant”) during the Promotion Period. Promotion is sponsored by ExxonMobil Oil Corporation, 22777 Springwoods Village Parkway, Spring, TX 77389 and administered by Theory Communication & Design, Inc. (the “Administrator”).

ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who have reached the age of majority in his or her state, or territory of residence and are at least 18 years of age or older and is limited to owners of Porsche vehicles (“Porsche Owner”) as of June 23, 2023.

Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of the Sponsor, the other Promotion Entities (as defined below) and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, employees or officials of any government, or government-owned or government-controlled entity, that has regulatory authority over EMOC or any of its affiliates and any and all other companies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to participate or win a Prize.

The "Promotion Entities" shall mean organizations directly involved with this Promotion including, Sponsor, Administrator, participating U.S. Porsche dealerships and each of their respective subsidiaries or affiliated entities, and their officers, employees, and agents.

The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law, rule, or regulation.

WAYS TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, Participants may enter one of two (2) ways:

1. Online: To enter via the Internet:

   Step One: Visit www.mobil1poweringicons.com (the “Website”) and follow the online registration instructions. Complete the offer form, including entering the VIN of your vehicle (Porsche or otherwise), name, address (no P.O. Boxes except in ND and AK), city, state, zip code, daytime phone number (area code included), and email address. COLLECTION OF THE VIN IS REQUIRED FOR ELIGIBILITY OF ALL PRIZES. ONLY PORSCHE OWNERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GT2 PACKAGE AND MOBIL 1 X PORSCHE GT1-98 COLLECTOR KITS; and

   
   
   

   Step Two: During the Promotion Period purchase an oil change with an eligible, in-stock Mobil 1 Product (as defined below) (“Qualifying Purchase”) at a participating Porsche dealership in the United States (“Participating Dealer”).
   
   “Eligible Mobil 1 Product” includes Mobil 1™ synthetic motor oil, Mobil 1™ High Mileage motor oil, Mobil 1™ Advanced Fuel Economy motor oil, Mobil 1™ Extended Performance motor oil, Mobil 1™ ESP Formula motor oil, Mobil 1™ Turbo Diesel Truck motor oil, Mobil 1™ V-Twin motorcycle oil, and Mobil 1 Racing 4T™ motorcycle oil.

   
   
   

   Step Three: Take a picture of your cash register receipt or create a scanned image of the receipt dated during the Promotion Period, from a Participating Dealer, showing your Qualifying Purchase; and

   
   
   

   Step Four: Upload your image of the original register receipt with the Qualifying Purchase to the Website. Review your uploaded image for clarity (illegible images will not be accepted) and click Submit to earn one (1) entry into the Promotion. Online submissions must be completed by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on August 28, 2023, to be eligible for the 963 VIP Package and the GT2 Package. Online submissions must be completed by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on November 15, 2023, to be eligible for the Mobil 1 x Porsche GT1-98 Kits.

2. Mail-In: If you do not wish to enter via the Internet or purchasing and oil change, you may enter the Promotion and receive one (1) entry by

   Step One: Hand-printing your name, address (no P.O. Boxes except in ND and AK), city, state, zip code, daytime phone number (area code included), email address, and VIN of your vehicle (Porsche or otherwise) on a 5"x8" index card. COLLECTION OF THE VIN IS REQUIRED FOR ELIGIBILITY OF ALL PRIZES. ONLY PORSCHE OWNERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GT2 PACKAGE AND MOBIL 1 X PORSCHE GT1-98 COLLECTOR KITS; and
   
   Step Two: Sending the completed 5”x8” index card in a sealed envelope with proper postage affixed to:

   Sponsor will use e-mail addresses provided via the Mail-in entry method for prize notification purposes only; however, eligibility to participate in the Promotion is not dependent upon entrant's provision of this information. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by August 28, 2023, and received by Sponsor no later than September 2, 2023, to be eligible for the 963 VIP Package and the GT2 Package. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 15, 2023, and received by Sponsor no later than November 20, 2023, to be eligible for the Mobil 1 x Porsche GT1-98 Kits. Mail-in entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, or illegible entries.

LIMIT: Only one (1) entry into the Promotion per person, per mailing address, or email address during Promotion Period, regardless of the entry method used. Multiple entries received during the Promotion Period from any person, household address, or email address after the first entry received from that person, household address, or email address will be void. Once submitted, an entry cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and receipt will not be acknowledged. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant that submits more than the one permitted entry, or who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with, influence, or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of this Promotion.

DRAWING AND ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing which will take place on or around September 5, 2023 from among all eligible entries received from Porsche Owners. Drawing will be conducted, by Administrator, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. The odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The decisions of Administrator are final. Winners will be notified within three business-days of drawing.

WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION: Potential 963 VIP Package winner will be notified via email and/or phone, and will be required to sign and return, within seventy-two (72) hours of notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility, an IRS W-9 Form and where allowable, a Publicity Release (collectively, "the Releases"). These Releases will require the 963 VIP Package Prize winner to furnish their Social Security Number for the sole purpose of tax reporting, as required by law. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety.

Potential GT2 Package winners will be notified on or around September 5, 2023 by email and Prizes will be sent to the address on the entry form.

Mobil 1 x Porsche GT-98 Kit winners will be notified on or around November 22nd by email and Prizes will be sent to the address on the entry form.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”):

Grand Prize: “963 VIP Package” includes VIP Rennsport Reunion 7 Tickets and Rennsport Rally and Experience Tickets. Two (2) winners from among all Porsche Owners with an eligible entry will receive a prize consisting of a ticket to the Rennsport Rally and Experience brought to you by the Petersen Museum (ARV: $4,500) with Rennsport Reunion tickets including hospitality tent access for winner and one (1) adult guest (18 or older) (ARV: $7,000). Trip consists of a rally, private collection tours, activities, meals for 2 days, and accommodations for 4 nights, along with a tax stipend for $2,650. Entire prize ARV is $14,150.

TOTAL ARV of 963 VIP Package: $28,300

Trip Specifics: Prize must be accepted by the winner as a whole within 72 hours of notification by email, or will be forfeited in its entirety. Hotel accommodations will be reserved by Peterson Musuem. Winner will be responsible for reserving, paying for, and managing all transportation (airfare and ground transportation); and paying for some meals, excursions, gratuities, fuel, parking, beverages, telephone calls, and any other incidental costs or expenses not specifically stated herein. All trip components are subject to availability. Winner and guest, if applicable, will be required to provide valid government-issued photo ID as required by travel authorities at time of travel, and to obtain and maintain all insurance (including car, health, liability, and any other insurance). Winner acknowledges and agrees that the Promotion Entities are not providers/carriers of transportation or insurance providers. Prize conditions may be added or modified by Sponsor or its designee. Promotion Entities are not responsible for any changes to any element of trip, nor are they liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight changes, cancellations, or delays. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers, debit/prepaid cards, or certificates. Event is subject to the terms and conditions of organizer, including rain check/cancellation policies and procedures. Travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, and certain other restrictions, all of which are subject to change. Any unclaimed and/or unused element of the trip travel package, or any element thereof, will remain the property of Sponsor or its designee. The restrictions/conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and the described above may be subject to additional restrictions/conditions, which may be stated in the Affidavit (as defined herein), and/or other required release and/or travel documents. Elements of the trip may require agreement to and execution of, separate releases for prize award/participation, in addition to the Release of Liability described herein. Failure to provide these documents, if required, will cause prize to be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. In the event winner and/or guest engage(s) in behavior that, as determined by Sponsor (or its designee) in their absolute discretion, is obnoxious or threatening, dangerous, harmful, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, with no further compensation.

“GT2 Package” includes 4-Day General Admission and Paddock Tickets. Five (5) winners from among all Porsche Owners with an eligible entry will receive a prize consisting of two (2) 4-Day General Admission and Paddock tickets and one (1) Preferred Parking pass, to Rennsport Reunion 7 in Monterey, CA on September 28, 2023 – October 1, 2023 for winner and one (1) adult guest (18 or older) (ARV: $460).

TOTAL ARV of All GT2 Packages: $2,300

Prize Specifics: Prize must be accepted by the winner as a whole within 72 hours of notification by email, or will be forfeited in its entirety. Prize does not include any travel arrangements. Winner will be responsible for all travel arrangements including: airfare, hotels, meals, ground transportation, excursions, gratuities, fuel, parking, beverages, telephone calls, and any other incidental costs or expenses not specifically stated herein. Prize conditions may be added or modified by Sponsor or its designee. Promotion Entities are not responsible for any changes of any element of prize, nor are they liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight changes, cancellations or delays. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets. Event is subject to the terms and conditions of organizer, including rain check/cancellation policies and procedures. Travel is subject to capacity controls, availability, and certain other restrictions, all of which are subject to change. “Mobil 1 x Porsche GT1-98 Collector Kits”. Ninety-eight (98) winners from among all Porsche Owners with an eligible entry, will receive one (1) Mobil 1 Powering Icons Racing Jersey and Leather Tool Roll in a collectible case (ARV: $150). Winners will be selected by a random-number-generating algorithm and alerted via email, at discretion of the Administrator, throughout the course of the Promotion Period.

“Digital Wallpaper” includes Mobil 1 Powering Icons Digital Download Wallpaper: Downloadable digital posters are free to all Participants with an eligible entry. There is no guarantee of the duration of availability.

TOTAL ARV of All Prizes: $45,300

Allow approximately one (1) to two (2) weeks for shipment following receipt and verification of all required documentation. Offer valid only for individual consumers; requests from groups, businesses, clubs or organizations will not be honored. Offer cannot be combined with any coupon and/or discount card. Incomplete, damaged, photocopied, mechanically reproduced, altered and/or forged receipts or offer forms of any kind, or receipts or offer forms not obtained through authorized channels, will not be accepted (except as specifically provided herein for online submissions). Invalid or duplicate requests will not be honored or returned. By participating, Participant agrees to be bound by these terms and the decisions of EMOC, which are final and binding. EMOC; participating U.S. Porsche dealerships; Administrator; and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "Released Parties") are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, illegible, damaged, incomplete, misaddressed, misdirected, delayed, inaccurate or postage-due mail, or for any errors of any kind relating to this offer. All requests become the property of ExxonMobil and are nonreturnable. ExxonMobil has no obligation to acknowledge, redeem or return requests not in compliance with these terms. The U.S. Postal Service statutes prohibit acts devised to defraud or to obtain money or property by false or fraudulent means if the postal system is involved. PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prizes are not redeemable for cash, assignable, transferable and may not be substituted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion. Any other incidental expenses on prize not specified herein are the winner’s sole responsibility.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift card usage is subject to the issuing company’s complete terms and conditions, including expiration dates.

Tickets are not redeemable for cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Tickets are subject to Rennsport Reunion 7 complete terms and conditions. In the event that Rennsport Reunion 7 does not take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption or postponement, or for any reason beyond the control of the Sponsor, Sponsor's sole responsibility will be to award the remaining portion of the prize and no additional substitution or compensation will be provided.

TAXES: All winners with prize values of $600 or more must supply Sponsor and/or Administrator with their social security number. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of winner for the actual value of the Prize awarded if the actual value of prize is $600 or more. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance or use of prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the winner’s responsibility.

GOVERNING LAW AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants, Sponsor or the Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other laws.

Though we may use an intermediary to conduct promotions, they may not use entrant’s personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. By participating in the Promotion, you hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of your personal information and acknowledge that you have read and accepted Sponsor's privacy policy. Entrant’s information will be used for purposes of direct marketing, research, and monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of ExxonMobil’s products.

GENERAL: Participating entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Administrator, and release the Sponsor, the Sweepstakes Administrator, and their affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Sweepstakes, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each (the “Released Parties”), from all claims and liability relating to their participation in the Sweepstakes, and the acceptance and use/misuse of the prize offered. Participating entrants assume all liability for and Released Parties shall be held harmless against any liability for any injury, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including personal injury or death, or injury to property caused or claimed to be caused in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by participation in this Sweepstakes, acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of the prize, or any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy, or merchandise delivery. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.

In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsor may ask any entrant or potential winner to provide Sponsor with proof, to Sponsor’s satisfaction, that such party is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. The Released Parties are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant (i) agrees to be bound by these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agrees to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the Sweepstakes Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes cannot be run as planned, Sponsor may disqualify any suspect entries or individuals from the Sweepstakes and any sweepstakes it sponsors and (a) suspend the Sweepstakes and modify the Sweepstakes to address the impairment, then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; and/or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the impairment.

DISPUTES: The parties hereto each agree to finally settle all disputes only through arbitration; provided, however, the Released Parties shall be entitled to seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state and federal courts in Harris County, TX and any other court with jurisdiction over the parties. In arbitration, there is no judge or jury and review is limited. The arbitrator’s decision and award is final and binding, with limited exceptions, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. The parties agree that, except as set forth above, any claim, suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Sweepstakes shall be resolved solely by binding arbitration before a sole arbitrator under the streamlined Arbitration Rules Procedures of JAMS Inc. (“JAMS”) or any successor to JAMS. In the event JAMS is unwilling or unable to set a hearing date within fourteen (14) days of the filing of a “Demand for Arbitration”, then either party can elect to have the arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) or any other mutually agreeable arbitration administration service. If an in-person hearing is required, then it will take place in Spring, TX. The federal or state law that applies to these Official Rules will also apply during the arbitration. Disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis and will not be consolidated with any other proceedings that involve any claims or controversy of another party, including any class actions; provided, however, if for any reason any court or arbitrator holds that this restriction is unconscionable or unenforceable, then the agreement to arbitrate doesn’t apply and the dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Spring, TX. Sponsor agrees to pay the administrative and arbitrator’s fees in order to conduct the arbitration (but specifically excluding any travel or other costs of entrant to attend the arbitration hearing). Either party may, notwithstanding this provision, bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
